Man and his storage space.

A man’s wardrobe attire, I mean all the clothes a man has, are usually packed in one cupboard including the man’s shoes. A man has so little garments that it anyway only fits in one cupboard. Most of the garments in that single cupboard went out of fashion a long time ago and some of them are so old that if he tried them on, it wouldn't even fit him anymore.

If you look at the top shelf of a man’s cupboard, than you see that in summer time, it is the storage space of the double electric blanket and the spare blankets for those extra cold winter nights. In winter time these will be replaced by bikinis, sarongs, straw hats and beach towels.
On ground level you will see three pair of shoes the man wears in his daily activities. Behind these shoes are all the winter boots of his wife neatly stacked in their respective boxes, leaving just enough space for the man’s three pair of shoes.
The middle shelf holds the man’s under garments, pajamas, shorts, socks, T-shirts, polo-shirts, jerseys and sweaters.

Luckily for the man his cupboard is split in the middle, one part are shelves and the other part is for hanging his shirts, trousers, jackets and his one suit which are all hanging from different kind of coat hangers; such as plastic, wood and wire ones.
On the left hand side of the hanging part of the man’s cupboard you will see, five zipped closed hanging covers which contain his wife’s cocktail dresses.
On ground level at the left hand side, the electric heater is stored at summer time to be replaced by the electric fan in winter time. On the right hand side of ground level, his wife’s tennis racket and tennis shoes are stored there permanently because she doesn't play tennis for the last fifteen years.

The man’s cupboard is a small part of the total bedroom cupboard, consisting of six double door cupboards and two single doors from which one is occupied by the man’s cloths. In the middle side of the total cupboard arrangement a double set of drawers is incorporated at the lower level.

What is behind those other doors? You may ask.

If we open the double doors on the far left side, we see neatly stacked garments on the selves at both sides of this cupboard. On the two bottom shelves, high heel shoes are neatly standing side by side arranged by color.

If we open the next twin doors we find a double row of short dresses and skirts neatly hanging from the same color of coat hangers.
On ground level we see all kind of sandals, slippers, flat shoes and other types of colorful shoes fitting the color of the dresses and skirts.

If we open the following double door cupboard above the two drawers we look at tops of all imaginable colors neatly stacked side by side. Blouses, woman shirts, long tops, halter tops and cardigans are hanging neatly from the same color hangers.

If we open the drawers we find neatly stacked underwear, we find under garments in many different colors, panty hoses, bra’s etc. The lower one contains shawls of any color, together with small fashionable handbags.

The following double door cupboard contains, long evening dresses, long party dresses and long skirts all arranged by color and hanging from the same color hangers as in the other cupboards. Every possible occasion is catered for.
At ground level bigger handbags are stacked neatly on top of each other together with more shoes.

The last one next to the man’s cupboard which is also a single door cupboard, contains winter tops, long sleeve blouses, pants and denim trousers, jackets, and coats.
The selves are stacked with jerseys, sweaters and other winter garments.
On ground level the sewing machine and over locker are parked together with their cords and foot pedals.

This unfair cupboard deal is a standard arrangement, tolerated by most men. Not that they do not like to have more space, they do! Not that men do not want to go shopping and buy nice things and arrange everything in their cupboards like a woman does, they do! Not that those men do not want all the same color coat hangers, they want!

The ridiculous buying sprees most woman are used to, put most men in the situation to pretend they don’t need anything new. They claim that they have enough shoes, shirts, socks, trousers and whatever.
The actual reason is: They do not have space left in their only single cupboard. The fact is there won’t be enough money for both of them to go on shopping sprees, follows fashion trends and buy want to’s and must have’s.

Men are taking in by woman in such a way that even when a man displays interest to buy something for himself, while he accompanies his wife on one of her must do shopping sprees, she doesn't think twice to convince her man that he does not need that.
